Pricey_sky said:That's poor, but at least they are showing Ruta del Sol which has a much better startlist.

argyllflyer said:thanks for pointing that out, Rob's always keen to be on the ground (he was in Dubai and goes over to Belgium for the 6 Flanders Classics races to do their international comms and I've seen him say he prefers to be at the races in person) - I wonder how much influence they have over such things if the opportunity is there? afaik the Tour of Turkey pay for foreign journalists / commentators to come over so that's another as well as the TdF that has them on site (and I'm sure Paris-Roubaix does too). Shame the Giro doesn't have the Eurosport guys on the road - makes such a difference imo.
I'm assuming that Declan Quigley will be doing Tirreno for Eurosport as Rob is going to be in France and Carlton in Italy with Dan Lloyd doing it for RCS.

Albert Fishwick said:I fear that Quigley for Tirreno is probably going to be correct.
I know ES runs on a tight budget and providing comms in several languages doesn't come cheap but it's hardly a long stretch to ship guys over for the day for the northern Europe races. It wouldn't be so bad if they would admit where they are but CK in particular often makes references to the local food or drink they are planning to sample that evening when you know perfectly well he will either be back home or grabbing a curry in Staines or some such place.
Still, any coverage is better than none, even if they did make a poor job of Ruta del Sol.
