That might not hurt actually, with an execption made for those who've fully acknowledge guilt, and helped the investigation to satisfaction of WADA. Oh, and spend a signficant part of their ban actively fighting doping and educating youngsters. That is, if they wish to return to cycling after their ban. If they violate the gagging order, well...a year added per infriction.

You must be joking.

No, I am a hater.

I' ll stop from now on ;)

For your info, I kinda like Contador, when he isn't overacting it of course.

Define overacting.

It intrigues me how some people can talk really bad about Alberto only to later say that they "kinda like" him, or "don't mind" him.

"Infriction". A catchy word - I'm going to start using it tomorrow, although I have yet to decide on a suitable context.

For anyone interested in what was said, among other things, he suggested Cav would have other things on his mind (TdF and Olympics) and would probably not finish - cut to Cav trying not to directly agree, saying he never goes into a race thinking he won't finish but it would depend how hard the last week was.

Contador talked about how hard it is to train alone; he's got a custom-made shirt with good will messages from his fans printed on it. About losing last year's title: he wished Scarponi well and hoped he'd win the race in a different way this time.

Scarponi a bit embarrassed about the whole thing, and another guy (possibly Giro director?) said Contador shouldn't have lost his title as he was clean last year and passed all their testings.

Good boy Scarponi. I may just love him again.

that dopador's image is still profitable says alot about the iq of the average cycling fan (a rare bunch of clinic posters excluded).

Hey, English is not my mother tongue, and that's the first time I've used the word, if it's a word at all. Choose well whom to copy.

And no Flor, I am not joking. You'd prefer dopers be kept on by their team at unreduced salary with estimate of bonusses for the full duration of the ban. Oh, and no firing of a poor banned doper, they can't help it to be junkies!

I have no objection to Contador appearing on Eurosport so long as Ashenden got to interview him.

That pistolero act of his when he crosses the line is just laughable.

I like his attacking style but I am no fanboy. Why would I? That doesn't mean one can't be critical on the way Dopador has gotten to his results.

 There we go again...

You like him, or you don't. You hate him, or you love him, or you're neutral about him.

You can't say I like this and that thing of him but apart from that he's just a dirty cheat, bad person, should be locked up etc.

Could one of the mods maybe have a word with sniper? Because he's constantly insulting others by calling them stupid, dumb, etc.

Just because some people have a different opinion doesn't mean they're stupid.

actually, I'd say that's one of the brilliant things about human beings: we have the ability to have complex, nuanced opinions about people and things that aren't limited to being black and white, love him or hate him (or be neutral about him). it's quite possible to like certain things about a person and dislike others. is this news?

Contador isn't an exception, regardless of your personal opinion of him.
