Plenty of riders have doped MORE than Lance.
Plenty from the 90's...
Plenty from 2000-2011...
Many of Lance's ex team mates have juiced more than him.

So I guess we have a disagreement:)

But remember, the doping program that Alberto was on in 2007 was more advanced than Lance's 2002 and 2004.
Just saying....

You saying Lance doped ?

The original question assumes that all could dope to the same level ...and live. It is debatable whether any of the others could live to brag of Pantani's HC of 60, much less race in that condition.

Then again, it was cocaine killed il Elefantino, and there is anecdotal evidence at least one of the others was more tolerant of that drug.

Not as much as Chiappucci or Berzin I bet.
The EPO test was not in place when those guys were racing.

One of Polish's many freudian slips. Indication she/he is in the debating skirmish as a hoot and not as a true believer.

Wrong again Velodude.
But at least you are consistent. Props for that:)

Androgynous one, you are conceding again that wonderboy doped and, in so doing, you are no longer a genuine true believer in the man and his spin.

Good grief, man, Polish admitted that a long time ago. There is his famous "quiver of awesomeness" post, and that was hardly the first time.

In fact, I was talking to a professional acquaintance of mine the other day. This guy is a professor at a major university, a specialist in Polishology, and based on a careful textual analysis of all of Polish's major communications, he's concluded that Polish was convinced that LA was doping years ago, back when he was riding and winning all those Tours. He has a paper in press on this, apparently.

Not only that, but he told me there is another researcher in this field who is pushing the radical hypothesis that Polish was on to LA's doping way back in the early 1990s. This was a time, of course, when only hard-core cycling fans even knew who LA was. According to this radical theory, Polish became extremely upset that no one could see what he saw, that everyone who followed LA thought he was clean. The situation became worse when LA started winning Tours, of course, and became a celebrity known all over the world. So Polish reacted, so the theory goes, by doing a 180, and insisting to everyone that LA was clean. It's his way of getting back at everyone who doubted his unique ability to ferret out the truth all those years ago. Sort of like Howard Roark blowing up that building, you might say. Geniuses are like this.

Granted, this theory is on the fringes of respectable Polishology. Not many in the field accept it; many think it's ridiculous. But my acquaintance assured me that the consensus in the field is that Polish has known and accepted for at least several years that LA doped. It's in all the textbooks, if anyone in the Clinic would just bother to read them.

These guys are not amateurs who babble in the Clinic. They are professionals who dedicate their lives to understanding Polish, even using the Freedom of Information Act to access protected identities on internet cycling forums all over the world. You would never realize this reading posts in the Clinic, but Polish is an extremely complex figure, beyond the understanding of people with no academic training and experience. Believe me, these researchers do. They know what they're talking about.

By "Same Program" does this also include advanced notice of testing? How about a couple of free passes on positives? Would Contador be business partners with McQuaid?

If yes he would smoke wonderboy

I find it amazing that so many believers of miracles forget these little nuances of reallity.

If nothing else, we'll finally see the common link between generations of tour winners... A shame that Pereiro, Sastre, and Evans (clean or not) get junked in the process.

Haha, seriously?! Muhlegg has got to be on of, if not the most, doped up "athletes" in the history of sports..

It's kind of funny, he was born in Germany but was competing for Spain since 1999, what a coincidence..

Spain has all the great places for "Training" during the offseason! :D

Common sense.
Logic I guess.

Kind of silly to name one individual as the dopiest rider anyway.
Do you think Vino doped less than Lance?
How do you know?

Do you think Alberto has doped less than Lance?
Bang Bang.

BTW, I do not think Lance is even in the Top 10 of the dopiest riders.

....and yet you do so in your previous post. Stop being so silly.

Go ahead. Just say it: LANCE DOPED. You won't get struck by lighting if that's what you're afraid of.;)

They don't forget them, they simply cover their eyes and ears and hum to themselves until the unpleasantness ends.
