Huh? He moved into the top 10 last stage didn't he?

I'm sure that was a reference to Anton and not Rujano. It's not easy when one moves out and the other moves in :p

Anyway I should probably make a note to self: never jinx it in this game - at the moment I started having faith in Anton again, he moved out of the top 10. But oh well, I guess he really didn't target the overall GC in the Giro and he's been doing OK point wise there after all. Now he still just needs to perform in the Vuelta.

Ya, I totally misread that post.

Update 19

AAC1983 continues to dominate but he's under a lot of pressure to keep his 1st place as ingsve is now only 34 points behind. Bumeington moves into the top 10 for the first time at the cost of Parrulo who's now to be found in 12th place. Jan the Man is this weeks high jumper, moving from 45th to 33rd place while Moondance continues his decline as he moves from 33rd to 46th this week.

Top 10:

1. (1) AAC1983 - 5438
2. (3) ingsve - 5404
3. (2) LukeSchmid - 5396
4. (5) Handbrake - 5346
5. (4) theyoungest - 5251
6. (6) Pcutter - 5173
7. (7) The Hitch - 5166
8. (13) Bumeington - 5137
9. (8) Waterloo Sunrise - 5092
10. (9) MADRAZO - 5066

Moving this thread away from the pro cycling forum has taken away my attention to this game which is unfortunate, because it's great.

I haven't checked the list since the start of the Giro. I wonder how far I've dropped :D

Oh I'm 33rd! Still around the same spot as I've always been. Top20-40..

Too bad I picked Brice Feillu instead of Roman Feillu. I haven't checked, but I guess Feillu has more points than last year.

Wegmann has been dissapointing as well. I hoped he would do better after he left Milram....

Bozic has been very dissapointing so far.

Well, Roman cost more than 10 times as much as Brice did, so that's probably the reason why :D

Oh, also: what a nice day in the giro with Capecchi first and Seeldraeyers third! :)

Not huge points but a nice CQ day for me today :)

Kiryenka the stage win (and a few more on the way for mountain classement - and maybe even the TT tomorrow)

Wiggins the stage win in Bayern - and clearly got some great for prior to the Tour

Silin got 3pts in Belgium for 4th - nowhere on GC but nice to see a) him getting opportunity to ride for himself at Katusha and b) showing some form :)

Expecting some major movements with the next update. With the Giro stages and overall points scores and all of the other races we will see individuals scoring 1000+ points this upcoming update.

Personally I'm hoping not to lose too much and do better at the Tour :D

Hahaha :D

40Km TT 52:45 45.5 km/h
Same course as last year. Last year I would take 3rd place with this time. This year not even good for the Top 10 :(

Will be interesting to see next weeks ranking. I finished the Giro unexpectedly good with Rujano and Siutsou in the top 10 while other popular riders like Anton and Di Luca were not as good as I feared. I'll score in the neighbourhood of 700 points this week I think.

My Giro has been a bit of a disaster. I suppose Bakelants did as well as could be expected, and the likes of Deignan and Seeldraeyers were so cheap that what they did was good enough, but now I really regret not having picked Kruijswijk (one of my "riders to watch for the 2011 season"). I also decided to pick Peterson instead of Stetina, but at least Peterson scored in Turkey, even though he was clearly not in form.

Furtunately, Van Avermaet and Terpstra have come to save my week a little.

As far as the cq game goes, i am very disapointed with Sella, Di Luca and the fact that some stupid break took away all the points Wiggins could have got in Bavaria.

On a cq note, Contador got a whooping 1156 points from this Giro.

That must be some sort of gt record, and this while taking it easy on several stages he had the ability to win, and not going for a kom he would also not have had too much problem with.

He already has 1817 points for the season, which would have placed him 5th last year.

His year total is over 3000 i dont think anyone has managed that before, and even with the loss of his Dauphine points, if he wins the Tour he could and does nothing else he should finish with a cq record points for the year.

Yeah ingsve, I browsed the top 10 of last week's ranking and you looked like you had the most to gain from the Giro with the riders and placings that you had. So I think you're a lock to move into first this week.

I had Kreuziger and Sivstov in the top 10, so that should move me up a bit... although too bad that even though I have 1 place up on you with Kreuz over Rujano, those 25 extra points won't go far since I'm over 1000 behind :p

Not to mention that Rujano was like a quarter the cost of Kreuziger...

Already thinking of next year.

I racked up the most points in the Giro than in any other race. I think grand tours will be where I score the most. Also, Greipel has been doing good as well at Belgium.
