He could have notified him beforehand. Very rude by Gaudu.I think Gaudu would've won even if van Aert didn't celebrate, but it would save van Aert from the embarrassment.

I think Jumbo are going to do an altitude camp after the Dauphine, so yes, probably more prep planned for Roglic and crew. The ITT will tell us about Roglic's form - If he does not put a minute into the other GC aspirants then he has more work to do before the TDF.
I saw Jonas on the radio at least three times in one minute in those last km. I wonder what he asked for!

Yup, you can tell by his reaction just after the line that he wasn’t so much thinking “OMG I just gave away a precious win” but rather “OMG I’m never going to hear the end of this and the guys are going to be merciless with the sh$t they’ll give me”Wout on the podium knowing full well he's getting a bollocking at dinner tonight.
Great win from Gaudu. Clearly on good form but we'll see how it translates in the mountains.

Ha! Nice description of poor Vuillermoz —never saw anyone gulping for air quite like that—though I certainly know that feeling (too often in fact).I think he was just showing off! Vuillermoz was off the back, breathing like a fish-on-land, while Vingegaard was just casually talking.
