Was never going to catch him when they only started riding that late. Not sure what ES commentary were thinking even thinking that was possible.

Verona would have had to completely hit the wall for that to happen.

O'Connor once again confirms that he's really great on shallow gradients, but the only one who could have kept up with Roglic is Vingegaard...

Vingegaard: "I was able to follow, well, not Primoz, but the guy behind him".

Dude, you were battling Ben O'Connor for a podium spot in the Tour last year... And you don't even know his name? He really seems rather oblivious with some of his quotes.

Super win for Verona.

Roglic is where he probably wants to be at this stage. Vingegaard, though, is going to be incredible next month. Quite a duo, and one that should make Pogacar's road to a three-peat bumpy.

Hopefully tomorrow we can see some fireworks from the others, because otherwise it will be an easy 1-2 for Jumbo. Watch out for FDJ and Ineos!

Quite like Roglic as he seems to have a decent sense of humour but TJV really are just Sky without the devastating stage victory at the end.
The recipe for how a team needs to ride to win GCs has been known for decades, why should Jumbo be any different?
