I read that as well. By what percentage can we expect it to be the truth, though? ;)

Would be very surprised if he doesn't go for GC in the end.
If it's a 2017 Barguil style top 10 in the end I'm more than happy.
Yeah, frankly I couldn't blame him. He seems to be at his best ever and he won't get a Tour route that suits him better in a long time.

He will probably have to be going well in GC or will end up there "by mistake" in the end.

Pog won the mountains jersey both times in 2020 and 2021.

Vinge won it last year.

Pinot just recently won it the Giro and respectfully finished 5th overall.

Congrats to Ciccone but he should be glad the murito at the end wasn't longer! Congrats to Vingegaard on winning the GC. Looking at the gaps at the end, it's demolition. According to his own words he's still not at his peak but a superb level is already there. He's #1 favourite to win the Tour and only one man (Pogacar) maybe can beat him but obviously there is still some question mark over his level in July.

I think he thought it was plenty long!

So now I'm not only 15-17 stages behind on the Giro, now in addition 6-7 stages of La Dauphine, both very watchable bike races it seems reading threads here....
Really hope for very heavy rain and snow storms for the upcoming summer, so I can catch up...
