Stevie wonder played all the instruments on some of his best songs, I'm sure he could do a better haircut than that just on vibes.
What a haircut o_O Once a hooligan, always a hooligan.
I didnt know...that way is not so impresseung by Remco
Yes, not very impresseung by Remco considered Roglic also crashed yesterday (this one is for baiting anti-Roglic fans.).

Great performance by the Bullet man, especially considering his far from optimal preparation. Congrats! Primoz also quite solid - 39 seconds gap (a bit over 1 sec per km) to such a specialist is not bad (albeit average speed suggests the TT was really fitting to him). Other GC guys with bigger gaps, Ayuso quite disappointing considering his TT abilities.
Maybe splitting hairs here so forgive that, but I would consider a TT "specialist" someone who is only a champion or contender in the TT (or any other discipline. Remco isn't, IMO, a specialist.

But I understand your point. Someone who is incredibly good at the TT.

That doesn’t always fit. Cancellara was absolutely a TT specialist, best in the world for several years. He was also one of the two supreme cobbled classics specialist of his era. They are not mutually exclusive.

No anti-Roglic sentiment here, who gave an affable interview after the stage, but seriously the crash yesterday was of little consequence (fortunately for him). Both seem to be building form, but the fact of the matter is that Remco came out way worse from the Itzulia crash. So I actually figured Roglic would have won the stage today. I don't think the crash explains losing today, but still working on the details at Bora maybe cost him that 1%. But were talking perhaps 20-25 secs, not 39. Anyway Roglic rode a very good TT and now is in the position, perhaps the pole position, to win this in the mountains.

I see where you are coming from, but name a current TT specialist then...
I assume FG/PG is going to roll out of your keyboard? Results might point that direction, but I do feel like he could be a contender in so many other races.

Apart from the obvious Rem vs. Rog .vs Pog .vs Vin debate The interesting aspects is which team has the best super domestics. Can Landa and van wilder match Kuss and Joergensson can they in turn match Ayuso or Hindely and Vlasov. This tour will likely be won by the “Star” who has the best help in the mountains. Souldal seems to upped their game much more then I thought by the recruitment of Landa add Alaphilippe and their team is not such disadvantaged anymore. Anyways Friday and Saturday will show.

I'm justy happy that we will have a race between R&R with maybe Jorgenson biting their shoes.

Why would Roglic be in pole position to win when he is 30 seconds down on Remco, who is a generational talent gunning for the Tour just like Roglic?

Personally I am hoping we finally see some semblance of the Jai Hindley who won the 2022 Giro so convincingly. He only teased us in the 2023 TdF before he crashed. He stated last month that he still aims to win the Tour. Hindley is 28.

This is what I was referring to. Not sure he means 2024, but certainly before he begins to decline.

Congratulations to Remco Evenepoel for winning an ITT.

Looks like two biggest pre race favourites are in some good form and hence a GC battle is open. Rogla did a solid ITT today, especially considering on how other potential GC contenders did. Hopefully we get some nice battles in the mountains and for their respective teams to play a role.
