Now that the Giro is over after a complete demolition by Pogacar, we can focus on the next battle. Critérium du Dauphiné. Besides Pogacar and Vingegaard, almost everyone that means anything in stage racing will be here. Roglic, Evenepoel, Ayuso, Kuss, Jorgenson, and many more. After the showing of Pogacar let’s hope we see a decent fight with proper climb times or we might be in for a TDF with a similar outcome as the Giro. And most importantly we’ll finely see if Evenepoel lost his baby fat, and is back at Vuelta ’22 weight.

Even though the hardest stage (7) has been made a bit easier, the complete route is still quite difficult. I don’t really see any stage that will finish in a bunch sprint.

I will keep an eye on Vlasov, as he might be co leader with Roglic, if Roglic is up to it. It will also be interesting to see who else will be in for Quickstep. Remco for the overall victory. Which Ayuso will show up? What form is Kuss in? Many answers forthcoming.

It was only announced today, but due to road works they had to change the route. These profiles come directly from the official website.
Quite a decent route change as well, I think it makes the stage slightly harder. Anyways, it should be all about Samoens

Oh my god my body is so ready, I'm suffering from heavy Pog-Vingegaritis, I feel like I can't even remember what a GC battle looks like, this is exactly what my doctor has prescribed me:
That route, that line up, Remco and Roglic fanbases at each other throats, Landa looking beautiful, Ayuso trying to convince himself he won't have to pull at the Tour for Pog, David Gaudu disappointing the French already, I could go on and on...inject it all into my veins.

Evenepoel still has nightmares about Catalunya 2023, one of the most unintentionally funny races of all time. If he wins stage 4 and goes into yellow you're about to see some absolutely majestic wheelsucking.
