Not sure the Champs-Élysées stage went exactly to plan. There were no street lamps on (certainly by the finish line) which mean everything was pretty dark towards the final few laps.

Very nice. I rode up which was great for the sheer fact you get to ride up Alp d'Huez with huge crowds but in a funny way I think you miss out on some of the atmosphere. You have to concentrate so much because it is so busy that you miss a lot of things going on around.

Though going through Dutch Corner was an experience.
