Double citizenship, or did he change it?

Netserk, I think you had a topic last year mentioning every rider with a top10 in all 3 gts. Can you find it?
Yep, I have it bookmarked ;) Only Nibali will change status after this Tour. Nothing changed after the Giro this year. Quintana will probably join it after the Vuelta.

BTW the criteria is top-10 in all three, with one of them being a podium. Three 10th places ain't enough.

Nibali is now the currently active rider with most GT leader's jerseys.

How do you factor in retroactive bans? Contador number seems low, so I'd guess those days are not included, which is fair enough I think. Do you count those days for people who were second at the time? And what about voided races?

Contador usually takes the jersey late, but then keeps it all the way (haven't ever lost a leader's jersey in a GT). I count those who were in the jersey at the time. 'Officially' Contador has fewer in the Tour and Giro, and Nibali two more IIRC in the Giro.

Would be interesting to check who was the youngest to achieve this result and if Quintana can beat him.

If Quintana does it this year, he'd have done it at this age:

For comparison this is how old Alberto was when he not only podium all, but won all:

Perhaps I'll check how old some of the others were later.

*I'm measuring in days because of potential leap years.

Hinault was certainly the youngest to win all three (only the winners I have checked so far):

Hinault:
From and including: søndag 14. november 1954
To, but not including søndag 8. juni 1980
Result: 9338 days

It is 9338 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

Or 25 years, 6 months, 25 days excluding the end date

But only 19 days younger than Gimondi:

Gimondi:
From and including: tirsdag 29. september 1942
To, but not including søndag 12. maj 1968
Result: 9357 days

It is 9357 days from the start date to the end date, but not including the end date

Or 25 years, 7 months, 13 days excluding the end date

Edit: And he is also the youngest to podium all three. I think Gimondi and Contador are on the podium there as well.
