Yup.
I've got the post Giro blues again.
Several of the Tour stages are set to surpass this one, for sheer tedium, judging from their profiles.

More of the same, next week, as the Tour du Swiss gets ridden by following the training manual for veterans.

The problem mainly is that this stage would have been quite interesting during the giro, it's for a large part the problem that the riders don't really seem to want to race during this Dauphiné

It's amazing that Pinot is only 20. Suppose it is more for me as I'm 19. Couldn't imagine doing that at this age..

What about Sagan then, he is a 1990 birthday!

Just seen on his wiki, i didn't know quickstep passed on him... Lefevre must be kicking himself!

He has, unfortunately, no chance. Even if he rides in the autobus and rests up tomorrow I think the finale on Sunday will be too hard for him.

thinking wishfully - he could get the first lot of sprint points on both days, then it will be down to how it plays out with breakaways and the GC contenders... if enough people out of the running get away and take the points... and Brakjovic just marks Contador and van Garderen...

that's a lot of ifs...

Still v well done to the lad - and Kennaugh - looking good if they continue to mature over the next couple of years and dont try and rush it and burn out

just noticed your sig, what's that about :D twitter exchange?

Yes, his sig is an awesome couple of tweets from LA and Cyclingnews' own Dan Benson. Somewhere in the archives of this board is a whole thread from back when it happened. It was great.

ETA - It's in the giant "Official Lance Armstrong Thread." Starts at post 3979.

Some of Dan's best work! Even if Benson is in LA's black book he is in charge of cycling's biggest web media site. That's power and influence!

Nice to see Pinot showing himself so early. He's massively talented, but I wasn't expecting him to show it this early. He only just turned 20 a few short days ago.

Funny how, looking at the massively promising young climbers out there in Pinot's generation, every one of them is french. Geniez, Sicard, Pinot.

Wasn't Rémy Di Gregorio also talked up a few years ago as well? He turns 25 on July 31 so I guess there is plenty of time for him (or is racing clean).
