Hello Everyone,

Let me introduce you to a small project I have been working on.

Background info:
I think it's a frustrating process to find, share and keep track of routes. I know there are already many apps and websites out there that provides a service like the one I'm about to show you (Strava, RideWithGPS etc.) But I don't think their designs and layouts makes it easy and accessible for riders to find, share and keep track of routes.

That’s why I have come up with my own idea.

In this video I will give you a guided tour through the website prototype:

Please, if you like the idea give the video a thumbs-up. If you don't, give it a thumbs-down on Youtube.

I will be very happy to get your feedback.
Is it a good idea or am I just wasting my time?

Thanks for your help.

/Christoffer

Ps.
The name and logo are just something I have made up it's not the final "product".

It could be a good idea, but can your marketing budget compete with giants like Strava, who already has gained millions of users? It should be a really blue ocean to make it profitable.

Thanks for your feedback illkoshevoy.
I know there are already some big players out there. But I am ready to take on that challenge.
Right know I am looking at how much it will cost to develop this site... Unfortunately not cheap..

Ah, I supposed you are a web-developer. I've worked on a few mobile apps and currently working on a small app for American Football. So if you have some specific questions I can try to answer and maybe give you a few advices

Awesome, thanks. :)

I will say that my competencies lies within user research, design and marketing.

  • What can I do to make it as easy as possible for web developers to develop my designs? (I use Adobe XD)
  • Can you recommend any specific agencies (outsourcing) that already works with GPS tracking apps?
  • Let's say I hire an agency and they make the site and then I want to move on with another agency, how do I make sure that I can take my product/design and just hand it over to another developer?

Thanks again.
