No guys peter sagan is just waiting to go on the attack and take back 25 minutes because derrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrp

TJVG will lose massive amounts of time on one of the multiple mountain stages. He's not been looking good in any of the climbs so far. In addition, he hasn't done a single pull for Evans.

It's gonna be Pinot. Looks stronger by the day.

He has been looking good. Rein and Tejay have both had a bad day apiece (stage 8 and 7, respectively). Rein has looked better than Tejay, though Tejay took some time out of him on stage 8. And, of course, Tejay is the best TTer of the 3.

I think it could end up being pretty close.

Van Garderen will lose much, much time on Pinot and Taaramae in the mountains. Between Taaramae and Pinot. Probably Taaramae, because of his good TT. Pinot looks really strong though, as said before. He may be able to distance Taaramae in the mountains just enough so he can take the jersey.

I sadly have same feeling. Last year Rolland who was bit of surprise and this year it could be Pinot...

Good chance of that. But Tejay has probably about 5 minutes of slack to give Pinot (much less to give Taamarae, but Rein also has less slack to give Pinot) with a 3 minute lead and an advantage in the TT. Tomorrow is one of Pinot's best, if not his best, chance to gap Tejay and Rein, so it's a win for Tejay and Rein if they can keep the damage to a reasonable amount of time.

Yes, but Tejay will be +10 minutes behind Pinot and Taaramae before the TT.

Side note on Rein, as well as he did on Stage 7 keeping up with Evans/Wiggins/Froome/Nibali, he may want to play it a bit more conservative on the finish tomorrow, since he kinda gassed himself for Stage 8 and gave a lot of time back to Tejay and Pinot. Yeah, he can pick up a lot of time tomorrow, but it won't help much if in the process he causes himself to crack on one of the two early climbs in stage 12 and limps in 10 minutes behind the pack.

****, Tejay lost 1.20 because of Evans

Well, still a good day for him. Moved up to 7th overall, kept the white jersey, put what will probably be enough time into Taaramae to knock Rein out of the white jersey race. He's got an effective 3-to-4-minute lead on Pinot, or thereabouts, because of his advantage in the TT.

I'm afraid our man just doesn't have enough form and he knows it. :( He looked very tired today and yesterday even on the podium when he managed to hang onto the white jersey. He didn't even smile..

Curse that crash on Vuelta Castilla!

Edit: Does this man look like he's just standing on the podium on TdF?

Sadly I was right. :(
