I don't mind a short prologue, it's good for the fans in the city, and in most cases it's probably not a "wasted day" at all, but more an additional one, which otherwise wouldn't happen.

In case of an interesting route, it can even develop into a bit of a trademark for the race, like it was the case in Luxembourg, for example. Since they have dropped it, there's nothing left I can remember about the race at all.

Alexander Kristoff feeling the age?
no idea what happened there (dislocated shoulder?), but as a result, Kristoff wasn't able to start today

Edit: from his Instagram: "I hit the barrier in the last corner with my shoulder after I came too close on the inside of the corner in high speed. No broken bones but something is not 100%… I can’t move my arm in some directions. Hope to recover fast and be ready for racing again soon"

I think McNulty and Johannessen didn´t know, that the bonus seconds will be given at the second summit and not at the first one...

Some people would give an arm and a leg to ride the Deutschland Tour (metaphorically speaking of course).

I don't think anyone would give an arm and a leg to metaphorically ride the Deutschland Tour.
I don't even think anyone would metaphorically give an arm and a leg to ride the Deutchland Tour.
