Mohoric is a beast, second GC in a week
And 2nd time without being the strongest. I mean, he was dropped multiple times again.

It takes a special quality to win then, without a team, when you are continiously dropped uphill
I'd say he was the strongest. He had difficulties uphill, but he did the work himself. Schachmann and Dumoulin weren't good enough to keep the gap.

Schachmann was the only one riding against the second group. Dumoulin and Co. were just waiting for Mohoric and Politt.

Yep true.

And Mohoric got a lot of help from Roompot and Politt

So, stage 2; Mohoric misses out on the victory - behind Schachmann - wins the next day.
Stage 3; Politt misses out on the victory - behind Mohoric, obviously - wins the next day.
Too bad it wasn't Ackermann who won stage 2.
