do we know if Tiger Woods used ?

He has seen some allegations about deer antler spray (which is supposed to contain IGF-1), though thats more with associated with Veejay Singh.

His current belle Lindsey Vonn, has been associated with an Austrain clinic associated with Bernd Pansold, who was part and parcel of the East German doping program. (he was convicted by a court)

She said that is was for testing, and didn't deal with the good doctor directly. The clinic says he is involved in only data analysis, these days.

I've never been a huge fan of the guy to begin with. IMO, he's done something, can't prove it, but his body has broken down so much, his knees are practically shot now. Doesn;t mean he's doing something wrong mind you, but for someone who prides themself on being so "fit", and exercising so much, he's had a lot of breakdowns. Plus, has he ever been tested by the tour? I find it funny that he was all for testing, then nothing came from it when they finally got around to actually instituting the program. It wouldn't surprise me in the least if he he was doing something. Personally, I think he's a huge POS, and a big fraud and phoney.

Oh, and i don't give a %$# how much ESPN ball licks him, he's not winning any more majors.......

As a previous poster pointed out, Woods used the services of Canadian Doctor Anthony Galea. It is widely suspected that Dr. Galea is a doping doctor (although he has never been convicted in a court of law). There are only two reasons to see a doctor that specializes in doping, and they are 1) to get dope, or 2) information on how to dope. If Galea is a doping doctor, Woods is almost certainly on the juice.

I think Galea performs "PRP". This procedure supposedly alleviates joint tendonitis. This procedure has never been proven to work, and only seems to be used by athletes that are suspected of doping. I believe it is used by doping doctors as a ruse to dope the athletes with IGF1. Raphael Nadal gets this procedure done by a Dr. Sanchez. IGF1 combined with steroids or testosterone can build muscle.

Considering the "V" shape that Woods has (his shoulders are much wider than when he first appeared on the tour), and the dependance on his long ball to win tournaments, I believe that there is a better than 50/50 chance that Woods is juiced. Of course, golf is more skill than strength, and Woods may have helped his long game, but hurt his short game even more. Maybe this is why he hasn't won a major in years ?

Not true! Busted for transporting, hiding "unapproved" drugs. Plea-dealed out so no clients would go public.

Wednesday to bringing unapproved drugs, including human growth hormone, into the United States to unlawfully treat pro athletes. ...
Woods has said he's been treated by Galea but didn't receive performance-enhancing drugs.

Treated by Galea, but there's NO WAY he was using PED's.

Galea had is own PED mule:
... his assistant, Mary Anne Catalano, was stopped at the border in Buffalo with a small quantity of human growth hormone, Actovegin and vials of foreign homeopathic drugs.

Woods is "never tested positive" and very likely never will.

I know this is not scientific at all but if you trace the evolution of his body it is pretty different over the years.
Massive neck, upper body etc….puny legs.

I remember years ago chatting with a physical therapist …his name came up and my pt said "no way" is he NOT doing something. …

Just MY opinion fwiw….^^^
I've never been a fan of his and certainly not after his 'indiscretions' were made public.

btw Do golfers EVER get drug tested??

But if they banned doping in Golf, no one would play it. I assume people load up on drugs and for a laugh have a round of golf.

like Lance was called cortisone neck in his nascent years, Tiger definitely had a case of buill-neck, roided tight end neck. some may say, bull-**** neck. atleast not a pin-head.

Drug tested 5 times last season

Link to the UK Telegraph article, this was at 16 events. So basically 1 in 3 events he was at he was tested.

Little or no OOC testing in golf it seems.

as if the sport wants to catch Tiger, and as if Tiger would ever be walking around with metabolites in his bladder knowing he is gunna be tested.

It is a limited hangout, to say he has been tested.

Being tested and being tested are two different things.
One has a premise you can test and it is a successful regime, and you are legitimately looking for metabolites.
The other is PR and marketing and communications ruse for succour(sic) moms.

This is typical of the general public's misunderstanding of steroids. They are so stigmatized in the mind of the general public that whenever they hear the term, they immediately jump to the conclusion that all steroids are anabolic and they are nothing but an outlaw drug used by the likes of over-muscled freaks like Ronnie Coleman and Sergio Oliva.

Corticosteroids (cortisone) are catabolic, not anabolic. They do not promote muscle growth, like androgens (anabloic steroids) do. To the contrary, anabolism and catabolism are exact opposites. The former combines smaller molecules to produce larger, more complex ones, while the latter breaks down complex structures into simpler ones to release energy. One of the side effects of anabolic steroids is they suppress the body's cortisol (natural cortisone) production. And cortisone, if administered in high enough a dose, will suppress the the body's natural production of testosterone.

Cortisone principally is an anti-inflamatory that promotes tissue regeneration, which is why it is used in ointment form to treat saddle sores. Whatever gave Pharmstrong that "bull's neck," it wasn't cortisone.

I was never really a fan until it became public he was banging all of those porn stars and strippers for so long without getting caught. Props for that.

Skills like that need to be respected, and I would imagine he applies what he has learned from that debacle into avoiding AAF's.

I know the difference b/w catabolic, the anti-inflammatories, the corticoids, the corticosteroids, the cortisone. I was in hospital for treatment for a neural disorder, and they needed to give me an aggressive treatment of cortisone. I knew it played with my pituitary cos my beard got heavier.

And there are other 'roids, the anabolic ones, that wont put (much/any) mass, and so some 800 metre, 1500metre and even Kenyan distance/marathoners cn take them without placing an extra kg on your body.

If you check out my posting history over the lat 48 months, you will see I know this. This is why there is such a proliferation of red and white tissue, mostly white tissue injuries in Australian Rules Football, in my lay person opinion.

And Armstrong DID have the nickname, of cortisone neck, when he was forging his nascent pro sport career.

I could be naïve , but if Tiger was charging, his former caddie Stevie Williams would have spilled the beans. Put a mike in front of him, and he sings. There's bad blood between the two, and he would have thrown Woods under the bus: no doubt. When you see 'athletes' like Tim Clarke, Jason Duffner, or even last week the kid Stadler win tournaments, it leads me to believe that in golf, you don't have to be a stud. It's in the head: calm under pressure and consistency. Hit your 180 yds club 180 yds. Shape it if need be and if you can :).

if you include home staff, there might be about 50 staffers in the employ of Tiger. Of which, Williams is only one.

Ok, they might have done weights sessions when they were at a tourney, and scouted the holes when Steve was doing measurements.

Otherwise, division of labor/labour.

He was never his wingman when Tiger was doing long necks of cristal and doing hookers by the boatful.
