Do you bother kittens?

This article has come to my attention and as a kitten lover and cyclist it has really got me confused about my priorities.

How many innocent beings do you bother whilst out on your commute, training ride or race?

I've had by bike accidentally fall over, when leaning against the wall, on my cat sleeping beside it. Due to the size of my cat, there was more physical damage to the bike, than the cat (moral damages excluded).

Squirrels - I always hope to strike terror in the hearts of the death-squirrels. Snakes, turtles, spiders, dogs, kittens - all get the benefit of my protection until they bite. Then they get the back of my hand. Unless they are reaalllly big, in which case I will show them the backs of my heels instead.
