I did get something positive from today.. Turkiye and Croatia both had awesome, inspirational tourism commercials during Spanish and French broadcasts on Eurosport..And the bicycle specific Michelin advertisements are good!!

All the other guys are good lads.

Bad news but not unexpected for João Almeida withdrawing. That makes it harder for Tadej.

Gotta say, Alpecin honoured the race. Some teams should take notice. They didn't have much to gain except a stage victory (which they already have and this one wouldn't make their Tour _that_ much more successful) but they went all "Why not, eh?"
I can only applaud that, great stuff.

Normally, you won't see the Belgian sprint in the hoods, but today he tried something new:Today I did it like real sprinters.

At least he's not sprinting with his sunglasses tucked down the front of his jersey again!

I can understand the approach van der Poel took, but surely at some point Rickaert thought to himself this is above my pay grade, they animated the race nicely all to no avail. Well, not to no avail, for glory and standing on the Tour podium. Chapeau!
