I remember getting on the floor and doing push-ups during Summies finishing ride in Paris Roubaix because it was so tense.

I know I'm going to be acting somewhat radically later in the morning as I watch the TT, hoping to see Ryder win the Giro.

I yell a lot, in a way a DS would do when spurring his rider in a break or in a TT.

What I also do: I normally watch races laying on the floor or on the sofa, trying to keep calm, but then whenever something happens I stand and start walking back and forth or jumping on one foot.
This is ok for normal stages. But if it's epic and action starts 100kms from the finish then fatigue comes and I have to lean on the screen and whisper at the riders.

Most of all I don't like having people around because I know I wouldn't go crazy enough.

Seems like you really enjoy and get into it.

Yelling at the racers

Not only do I encourage the riders, I scream, holler, yell, berate, denigrate, and curse them along with the DS's, announcers, team sponsors, Patty McQuaid, and every other fool connected to this crazy sport of ours. I yell so much that I have become/actually long ago became an object of amusement and source of grand entertainment for my entire family.

Just how bad is my psychosis? Well, I have many races taped, and I have watched them all many, many times, so many that not only do I know the winners, but I know every attack, every implosion and explosion, and every water bottle hand-off. However, since I know the winners, does that keep me from screaming at my favorite to, "Go...Go, you flippin' idiot, go now!" No. I still scream, and I do it every time. I know, I pass the test for insanity. Oh, well.

If I watch races back on YouTube, I tend to do that even when I know the outcome. Like there's some thing inside you that makes you think someone's going to crack, or something different from what you saw earlier is going to happen.

. . .Most of the time however i am yelling at Phil or Paul

Try streaming eurovision and get Sean Kelly (with David Harmon?? not sure) announcing! I have a soft spot for Phil, Paul, and Bobke, because they were there way back when we first started getting bicycling on tv. But I don't really like them that much as announcers. Although, they were far preferable to Craig whatshisface, and they were much to be preferred to any other announcers we got in the late 80's and early 90's. But, today I have a choice. How nice!

Keisse's finish was sick. I was yelling at the TV wanting him to stay to the finish.

I also do fall asleep a lot in front of the TV on boring flat stages, and sometimes even mountain stages (happened a few times this Giro). Nothing happened anyway, boring racing.

-do you yell at your screen?

-do you throw stuff when something you didn't want to happen happens?

-do you scream like a girl when someone you wanted to win wins?

Dragging this one up again because I sorta just realized something.
Though... I dunno if it's crazy or just normal around here:

I rarely remain seated when there's a (big) crash.

Very true, thats me too! Its embarrassing when its at work and I start going crazy

How do you have time to watch cycling when at work?

Downtime?

My brother says he sometimes watches it at his job. Even his boss has walked in on him watching it and hasn't called him on it.

You should rephrase that as, "How do you NOT have time to watch cycling at work?" :D

Priorities! Time to rearrange them.
