Seeing how Froome totally blew the script, how does ASO handle this?

->Surprise doping positive like Landis?
->Surprise firing like Rasmussen(sp?)??



There must be more creative ways for Froome to be banished. Porte wins?

Haha. That is so true. But, times would be down, juuuuuuuussstt below EPO years. Because that's natural due to advances in training and technology.:rolleyes: Garmin would still get clobbered. (This from a Garmin doubter)

But, I'm imagining a spike job to a sample. Remember Landis claims he didn't take whatever it was he was popped for. Either that or the sample's red-hot positive and they actually process it.

They must be working out the options now. If Froome and Porte can't make it seem like a race tomorrow, something should happen. My wild conspiracy theory is ASO is indifferent to the UCI's pleas that Froome and Porte "never ever, ever never " dope.

Froome has stated a few times now, when asked about doping, that he isn't going to have his titles stripped in 5 or 6 years time.....he's that confident ! to keep saying that proves that Sky have this signed and sealed from the TOP.

they didn't do sh!t while LA was winning-what makes you think is going to be different this time around?

Prudhomme has already stated many times ASO is only the race organizers- is up to the Anti-doping agencies to get the cheats--so we know that ain't happening -specially with SKY.....:(:mad:

He raised it to 20, 30 years in an interview today.

Surely some thing has to come to a head. It is going to be difficult for even the most casual observer to believe in something this ridiculous.
With Landis everyone was looking for something to ping him on, Chicken....well....everyone knew something was up but he wasn't so far removed from the rest of the peloton (couldn't TT be at least we knew he could climb) I think he was more a victim of breaking the Bruyneel and co. script..

I think we need someone to break away and gain 30min spoil the SKY/BC script thus forcing action to be taken and see if there is any fallout from there.

ASO cannot do anything to Foome. Chicken was put out by Rabo! Not ASO or UCI.The UCI however can send his samples to the same lab that Contadors went to? But if they are using products that cannot be detected they will get away with it!

As has been said a million times Froome came from a NOWHERE to this form!???

keep in mind LA was only caught because of his egoism, his arrogance, his comeback and all the bridges he burned along the way. And that still took over a decade from his first tour win. Froome's is a more likeable personality so is there any reason to believe he will make the same mistakes?

You could compare him to Landis or Rasmussen or whoever, but they were always black sheep. We got lucky with Contador and that botched cover-up, but then again Contador wasn't ushering in a new era of popular consumerist interest from one of the top untapped economies. The UCI, ASO, BC, Murdoch have millions invested. What do you have riding on this?

People in France should literally protest this farce and just not turn up roadside. It's the only way the higher-ups will even think about properly investigating this.
