Vino has an injury now - he's writing on his FB page that he has a knee injury. So who knows what shape he's going to be in.

Alexander Vinokourov, Alejandro Valverde, Andrey Kashechkin

All notoriously suffer in the high mountains of the Alps and Pyrenees and Dolimites when it comes to the GT's that include them.

A win is win however you choose to look at it. There's no asterisk by his name in the history books.
