Does my British Cycling membership money fund the UCI?

Does any of my BC membership money end up in the accounts of the UCI? I think that BC do a great job of promoting cycling in the UK but the UCI seem intent on ruining cycling as a professional sport, I would not like to think that any of my hard earnt money ended up contributing to the downfall of professional cycling.

From what I can tell by reading this forum they seem to be up there with the best of them as far dodginess goes- and I do not want any part of it.

I think the best thing to do would be to phone up BC. But from the brief read I've had of the UCI accounts I don't think so.

Not directly. By spending money with BC,
-you give legitimacy to the UCI's actions.
-you promote uci's strategy of keeping regional pro cycling poor.

If there is an independent federation or promoter doing good events, I suggest spending money there, not at BC sanctioned events.
