Dominating Riders of the 2020-2029 decade

LOL, as his son turns 12 next week, I don't think he'll be dominating the next decade of racing, especially since he's playing soccer and not racing a bike (actually all 3 of his boys are playing soccer and not racing bikes).

Going the Evenepoel route. Their path to domination of the 2030-2039 decade is already assured.

Or even riders most of us haven't even heard of yet; if there's some 15-year-old kid at your local club you think could do pretty well, feel free to nominate him and if by the end of 2029 he's the defending Tour champion, I'll get you a beer!

And what we had heard - collapsing on the final stage of Tour de Pologne, because he couldn't handle wearing the leader's jersey - didn't exactly scream "future dominator".

Rather funny to see this thread revived.
Some, we thought would dominate have already basically faded into obscurity.
Others, we didn't even consider are well on their path to domination.
And I'm not even counting the silly predictions found earlier in this thread.

Though, I suppose one thing we definitely couldn't have predicted in late 2019 was the World turning sideways a couple of months later...

It's quite astonishing how rarely names like Pogacar, Evenepoel, Van der Poel and Van Aert were mentioned given that it was late 2019/early 2020.

My question is, where are all the top Swedish cyclists? They have a lot of cross country skiers that rival Norwegians and others, so they have plenty of endurance athletes, but where are all the cyclists?
