Wiggins better retire faster, everything he touches transform in poo

He could not be bothered to pull for more than 1 min and close a small gap for his sprinter.

Also, not pulling means no GC for him so he is just lazy. Fk off already.

Lol. First of all, it was way too late to catch the break. Second, Wiggins couldn't care less about this race. This is all training for PR and nothing else.

Wiggins won't even podium this race. He doesn't give a flying *** about it. It's all about fine tuning himself for PR. You will see him do a lot of work at the front the next few days setting it up for Viviani.

Kudos to Lotto for racing aggressively and for doing so all year. Also good for Kristoff that he raced pro-actively instead of for example Démare, who was in a promising position and then refused to pull.

Flanders is the main objective of the classics season for Kristoff. He will still probably race for the win here though, like he has done in the past.

Not many TTers survived the stage, Kristoff is pretty much done as a winner. For podium we can look at guys like Durbridge, Quinziato, Lampaert, Boom, Vermote and Bak who has a solid advantage over the other guys. Also Kung is a good TTer. Wiggins is an enigma, can't see him being dropped on the next two stages unless something unsusual happens but you never know.... Also watch out for Colbrelli, he can do a decent TT if needed.

Awwww there there, have teddy for a cuddle.

I am far fom a Sky man, but I think if Sky was getting help from Astana and others I could moan. Astana have Boom and did what on the front?

On what basis you excluded Devolder from there?

Even at his decline the only good thing he remained of his past ability was a good prologue/TT result.

Tbh i couldn't memorize any decent Devolder's results from last year. But you're right, since he's up there with some advantage he can finish it off with top 3 GC.

Eh what? Devolder will take a lot of time on Kristoff in the ITT.

Kristoff finished roughly at 30 seconds from the winner in the last 2 final TTs in De Panne.

Although I haven't checked how long the one this year will be

Good race.

I would have liked to see how well Kristoff/Katusha would have reacted to Lotto/Develoder attacks. Among the favorites for Flanders, Kristoff has shown the least savvy (read that correctly: he hasn't needed to show savvy because his team does a great job shepherding him. Just that we haven't seen him have to handle the 8 man chess match like we will for the final k's at Flanders)

Kristoff did a great TT here in 2013 when he was 6th (e.g 1 second behind Terpstra), so it's not a given that he will lose a lot of time.

If he wins tomorrow as well he will have 16 seconds on Devolder, which should be enough.

What happened to Lotto this year, riding so aggressive? Although it's merely in the smaller races for now, it's still good to see. What's next, Van den Broeck racing ftw? :p

Everything about this post/poster is kind of cringey. I wonder was I this irritating when I was 16? .

Really is Kristoff or Devolder, none of lotto guys seem to have a tt capable of even beating Kristoff, although with 3 options they might cause him plenty headaches. Kristoff winning another stage of the two should be enough, today is usually the hardest day.

I'd say that Kristoff is riding stronger than he has the last few years. He will hold onto this. There's not much between him and Devolder in time trials. Stefan Keung is probably the one that can take it away from him as BMC want this race. Sky don't care about it. OGE are not strong enough. Neither are Astana. Boom is focusing more towards Sunday. Kristoff or Keung win this.

Kristoff to win again tomorrow. Hopefully Devolder doesn't pick up any bonus seconds...I'd like to see Kristoff take the overall.

I was amazed that the first stage was thrown away by Lotto, they may have well being wearing a Katusha jersey .they took them to the finish with the obvious result. 3 riders who just sat in , no aggression to try and attack innthe last 5 k. :)
