Kittel vs kids.Easy win.
He's got so much more power than everyone else it's ridiculous.

Hopefully if he stays on this form we'll see a few more breakways succeed this season, because no team is going to want to work with Etixx.

Good to see him back to winning ways.

Cavendish's positioning was poor. Left too much to do.

Zero leadout. If this wasn't a bonus second deciding GC race, he'd probably not have sprinted from that far back ordinarily.

I don't think that's even going to be a competition worth keeping track of this season. There such a difference in power, and Kittel now also has a significantly better lead out train.

Kittel v Greipel is the real battle.

Yeah well I guess we'll find out, but either way, I think it's interesting for now. ;)

Oh dear, the coach of the German team will have a hard time dealing with the rivalries inside the team, it's going to be like Spain in Firenze.

Renshaw is clearly finished as a lead out man. The signs have been there for a while so it's surprising that Cav insisted that he followed him to Dimension Data, seems like an obvious case of misplaced loyalty to me. This could cost him a number of wins this year in races where Kittel is not present.

Cav was actually the only sprinter closing the gap to Kittel. Barely though, but Cav had to come from far while Kittel was lead out perfectly.

I doubt Kittel wouldve beaten Cav if the roles were changed. I do think Kittel has an edge on Cav atm, but this sprint showed that it's only a small one.
Biggest difference will be their leadouts.

Cav never won a stage sprinting against Kittel.

Yep, if they're all in form then they could easily mess it up by selecting all the big name sprinters at the expense of getting a proper leadout.

Marcel Sieberg leading Kittel out though?

Yeah, I think it could still be interesting. It's not like Cav was WAY slower. He wasn't positioned very well.

He was sprinting from Abu Dhabi, I imagine Tyler Farrar and EBH will help with that.

Kittel is such a freak. When he's in form no one comes even remotely close.
If Bouhanni manages to become a McEwen type sprinter ... But yeah, if, if, if!

All those second tier sprinters in the way, I just wanna see Cav on kittel wheel with 250 to go (that's the most likely chance that he wins IMO)

No, he won't. He needs to be first in the last 200m. If he starts the sprint behind Kittel he can't pass him. If he starts first with only 200m to go, he'll win the sprint 9 out of 10 times.
