Ultra strong team by Visma, but they have failed before to put it mildly.

Maybe Watson can improve on the 17th from GW, if Ganna really commits.

Will Lund send another message to the cobbled race fans that not taking him to RVV or PR or both is insane.

niet in het profiel zichtbaar, maar met in de finale de kasseien van Doorn, Wannegem Lede, Huisepontweg en Herlegmstraat zo te zien

Google translate gives that as
not visible in the profile, but with in the final the cobblestones of Doorn, Wannegem Lede, Huisepontweg and Herlegmstraat so to see

I have PMed Gavia to ask that future posts are in English. The breadth of origins and languages skills is a great strength here, but the forum needs to stick to a lingua franca (or lingua inglesa )

I think it could be rather fun, if we all communicated in a language RhD couldn't understand...

My rather limited Dutch skills did allow me to comprehend gavia's post, but it wouldn't take long before I'd struggle.

yeah i think the team will set him up to be gone solo or only with a teammate
Could see WVA , Hagenes and maybe Laporte getting away on one of the bergs, ideally for maximum amusement, with Vermeersch and Morgado. But RBH and Decathlon showed on Sunday how effective they've become at chasing, then you have Ganna/Tarling who will contribute for the training miles if nothing else.

Difficult to see how a group of any composition stays away?

if a group of five to ten riders are clear after trieu , most teams wont chase

I recommend Irish or Latin.
Would the forum be more interesting if you didn't understand a single post? I think we need a poll to change the language of the forum.

I’d be quite suspicious that someone would manage to rig the poll in a fraudulent attempt to get their favored language selected. Then we would have a counter-insurgency of folks seeking to supplant that choice with their own mother tongue. As demonstrated in this wacky film: https://spotlightmediaproductions.v...ur-switzerland-trailer-with-english-subtitles

Van Aert is the favourite but I hope to see Del Grosso and Morgado fighting for a top result
Del Grosso finished 6th in this race last season, which I had forgotten about. Is the hill section in the middle of the race too selective for Philipsen and the other sprinters to have a chance? Seems that way from the results of past editions.
