it was his first race back after missing Sanremo due to sickness, so more about getting back into it. He still wasn't really happy with it, but aims to win today.

On the other hand, LFR is dead wrong about some of the climb stats. Nokereberg is not hard, but definitely more than 2.8%...

Oh, and they're also missing the cobbles on Berg ten Houte and Eikenberg.

I saw them live. Brennan was close to the front of the bunch. Van Aert was stretching his back at the back of the bunch. Girmay was the very last, with an extra shirt against the cold.

As hard as the peloton is chasing, for all the big names in the break it will soon become a worry to compromise your chances by working hard to maintain a 20 second gap.
