I'm thinking about buying an E-bike for my wife who had to give up riding her road bike due to a foot injury.
Bike paths in my area allow e-bikes to be ridden on them.

I saw an article on the Desiknio sport bike from Spain - anyone know the price and availability in the USA or UK?

I watched their video. Heavy on style (and it was stylish, as are the bikes), but I'd want know a lot more technical details. Major manufacturers like Spesh have not been able to craft reasonable battery capacity into conventional-looking frames (and curse them to hell for promoting e-bikes on mountain-bike trails). I doubt these guys have cracked some magic battery technology. The range is likely to be limited. I'm guessing the batteries can be removed/replaced via access in the BB area, but if they are permanently locked into the frame, that would make replacement somewhat more expensive. (edit, yes batteries are removable)

The carbon belt drive is a good option, but the leather bits on the "classic" are style over substance in my view. Still, they do look nice.

I love e-bikes and how they are getting a lot more people out and about than would otherwise consider riding. They are particularly great at making bike commuting "doable" for more people.
