Chasing pack has caught the favorites but it seems like the guys who want to win have shown their hand so I wouldnt expect the final cut to be much different

Philippe Gilbert withdraws from the race

“The best training is to do the last 10km of a race full on. You can’t do that in training. Even if you ride almost 200km in the first part of a race, you still need to be there for the finale to really improve. Besides, the weather is really good, so it shouldn’t be too tiring to ride both races.”

Not good Gilbert!

There is something really wrong with him.

He looked so bad on that climb just now. It's easy to say now, but it seems like he should have had a break sometime before now.

And in a smaller group nobody wants to sprint against Boonen so they attack him. Just like Fab did to him 2 years ago.
Well he is gonna be attacked whatever, if he is strongest to make a selection he must think himself strong enough to reel in attacks

Nobody made me a good explanation. Are you talking about tradition?

No, not really. It's about making race hard and being best placed on the hellingen every time when it matters.

Form is the symptom, not necessarily the cause.
Ah, but BMC and El Pistrolero said his physical problems were over, so it must be a matter of form ;)

Its not hard when as soon as he gets over the top he sit up and waits for the peloton to come along.
