Broke his rib so yeah, chest pain.

That's really unfortunate for him. Such a good form and for the first time of his life he seemed to be able to compete among the better riders instead of the lower ranks.

That's cobbled classic racing though. It's viscious and for quite a few riders very unfair. Look at Gatto.. such a brilliant race and then when Chav and Muravyev reach him he gets a flat tire and it's all over. Bye bye a long hard day @ work.

Just watched the race and despite it ending in a reduced bunch sprint it was a very good race to watch.

Hahaha, Freire thought the finish was 500 meters further. I wouldn't believe it if it came from any other cyclist, but Freire.... So typical lol.

Yeah..well it seemed like Boonen thought the finish was 200m earlier. He started that sprint really early

He is so good that he can sprint 30m and almost beat Boonen, I wonder what would have happened if he sprinted 50m
