I genuinely think it is better for Seixas if he's soundly beaten by both Pogacar and Remco. Not because I don't want him to do well and fulfil his potential, but it would give him a bit more breathing space to develop and remind (some) people that he's only 19.The whole of France and everyone hoping to see the Pog-dominance broken jumped on the Seixas bandwagon. According to the bookmakers he has already twice the odds to win LBL vs Remco, a two-time winner. He actually never competed in a 250km race except one (Lombardy) where he lost minutes against him. Seixas is doing great, he is probably the third best climber at the moment and he is in top shape doing atitude training since January. However, he is still only 19 and his engine doesn't seem at the level to compete with Pogacar and Evenepoel in such a hard and long race.
