Also means very limited tv coverage if this is the weather, so its not all good. Looking aa a static camera for an hour at the finishline is not my idea of fun

Was it Gent Wevelgem where the riders got knocked off the bikes in wind and rain about ten years ago, won by the Pommy ? Can’t remember exactly, could be the same tonight

Hmm some weather reports just say lots of wind, but that much rain. Some local thunderstorms are possible, but it's also possible it misses the riders completely.

Sunday should be worse with rain all day long and way colder. Less wind tho.

A bit butchered, yes, but you get the gist of it. Yellowish means 25-30 km/h.

Why sort it by team?

And do you really favour (even with this western wind) Merlier over Evenepoel here?

Because I do it by checking each team's roster and comparing it to the start list.

And no, you're right about the other thing. I did consider Remco and Roglic but they are yet to perform in a race like this, so I left them out.

Faster than Merckx in Harelbeke. The career of E3 Award winner Hubert ‘Utsobolino’ Hutsebaut
"In the spring of 1972, again there seems to be no size on Eddy Merckx. On 25 March – just under a week after his victory in Milan-San Remo – the Brussels native is therefore sky-high favourite in the E3 Harelbeke. Merckx, however, is surprised by local hero Hubert Hutsebaut in the final sprint and has to make peace with a second place. A look back at the stunt victory and the career of Hutsebaut. "
