Insane scenes, 1 minute and there would be a general lull in pace and a coming back together, but 3 is pretty terminal even at this point.

going by this picture, Bora seems to have most guys behind

Looking at the style of the Uno-X rider behind the Astana guy it seems like Abrahamsen.

How in the *** do you even let this balloon to 3 minutes in such a short space of time? On the plus side, it means we'll get a non-alien dominated classics finale for the first time in forever.

Are there any fast riders in the first peloton? The rest of the field seems to be treating them as a breakaway more than a split peloton.

I suppose we are about to find out, unless of course we are treated to a 30 minute analysis section from Adam Blythe...

TTT for Lidl Trek is listed in the front split and is pretty handy in a bunch finish.

If they gunned it behind the big engines would eventually come back into the race but does MVDP want to expend that ahead of RVV/PR when he he has already won this race before

I have live pictures now on Flo. Gap between the two pelotons (not to the three leaders) is down to 2 minutes.

Seems crazy that the teams in front are going to waste such a big opportunity with the superstars out the back. Pace must be average at best if the front group has seen typical breakaway pack fodder riders go clear from it.

Just came back from my training ride. Not what I was expecting. 3 minutes is a lot. Already 2 minutes now with the smaller lead group. Will come back again soon.

Yes should be some kind of regrouping at some point, though this may wear out doms to the point that we might see attacks earlier than usual.

I don‘t understand this Q36.5 tactic, Townsend won‘t achieve anything in this break with its five-millisecond advantage.

I don‘t get why there aren‘t more teams working in front. The outside favorites up front could actually get a good result.
Vermote should be used up while he is still relevant.

I didn't catch who the Visma rider with a TT helmet is who is the third guy in front.

Do good riders have teammates in front?
Bahrain probably should work, but how good is Mohoric?
Trek should go for Stuyven probably. DSM is there with a few guys but don't have a good rider, same for Q36.5 now that Christen isn't in good form.
