electric powered bikes to me is an obvious oxymoron. i work at a bike shop whenever people ask about electric bikes it irritates me greatly. i just want to ask why are you in a bike shop and not at a motorcycle dealer?

When I tried the Derney in a sprint I cooked the motor and I was no where near as fast as the sprinters.

Bikes are for fitness so how can electric everything be any help. Just stick to a car its more comfortable .

I don't see that working. If too much power comes from the pedals and you don't have the strength to keep the pedals flat, they will just spin around real fast. That's just dangerous.
