Yup. His results in the Eneco TT illustrate his career development rather well:

2008: 6th
2009: 1st
2010: 6th
2011: 9th
...
2014: probably 40th or so

still one of the most surprising developments.. Kristoff winning classics and major tour sprints, while Hagen is generally declining in everything. Still remember when they were both at Maxbo Bianchi

This is probably not the smartest sarcastic comment considering Dumoulin's ride yesterday.

The point of my comment actually had little to do with Dumoulin. I'll edit it to "an unfair disadvantage to Fabs" and leave Dumoulin out of it, okay? :)

Cut the crap, he hardly had any car drafting there. From 2 images you conclude that. Also, he had a flat at the worst time possible, how is that fair

You compare bending the rules with getting a mechanical at the worst possible time. Yes, I felt bad for Dumoulin when he punctured, and even though he made a huge effort to get back on, he clearly benefitted from drafting behind cars and motos without being penalised, which is unfair and also quite amateurish considering he is a dutch rider in a dutch race.

However you are probably too biased to see it :)

The weird thing is. On the Giant bike Mollema did really great time trials
Only after specific training. He used to be as terrible as he is now, and he hasn't trained on a TT bike this year (which is strange, as for instance Kelderman and Gesink have done so)

He does look particularly terrible on this new Bianchi TT bike though.
