Erik RIP !!

If I remember well, Sporza paid a short tribute last year during the Worlds (2014) and I did not really understand why, did not wish to believe that it was because he was very ill. Now, I guess it was.

I hope that Roger has had time to reconcile before the fatal moment. According to his autobiographies, that was really what last wanted, to make his life complete. I do hope he had but I don't know.

They did reconcile.
In a short interview with Het Nieuwsblad Roger said he said goodbye a couple of months ago when Eric still recognised him despite the advanced alzheimer's - hugs and tears were involved.
