Nys has not won anything this year, nor has he ever won the Worlds title, in contrast to his Belgian teammate Niels Albert, who won the title in 2009, and has won three World Cup races and the national title this season.

Nys won his own GP again on January 1st 2011 and was World Champion in 2005 in Sankt Wendel, same venue as this year.

Another slight error here on this peice..Hunt didnt come third it was Ian Stannard at Kurne-BrusselS-Kurne. Jeremy Hunt was running strongly then packed
