Looks like Tadez will attack on the last Lerps, it's long enough so he can gain big time ~on~ the climb, not after. Then just maintain a minute lead.

It's 75km from finish (a good range for him), but only 125 from start, so some fresh legs may follow him. If he does take 2 or 3 with him, he'll drop them on one of the smaller d'Enfer ramps, no later than the one at 40km. He won't leave it to 25km or 10 km.

It also just makes no sense for Pogacar to do this.
He really doesn’t know what he’s doing, does he? 😁

It makes perfect sense. Remco is s good as riding alone in the back unless he drops so much it doesn’t even matter anymore. Playing to your strengths seems like a sensible thing to do…

Only rider i seen beating prime Pogi in a dominating fashion, on when it comes to one day race events, was Rogla.

Pogi could also wait untill the last climb(s) and still win solo. But no team tactics if everyone is dropped earlier, even with 4 working together they won’t come back unless Pogi bonks.
