I feel that Remco has a better chance of gaining any time on Pog if he's solo instead of with those 3.
I think he knows that, too… that’s why he tried to drop them on the climb. The commentators telling us it’s important for chasers to stay together. It really hurt Remco I think because he can’t go all in with those 3 wheelsuckers behind.

Scaroni is sucking the life out of the chase. At least Valverde did it with bit of panache.

Remco's given up now - he should have ridden his own race and never have tried to get the others working with him

Rob probably knows who it is.
I've read too many of Rob's posts, the other day I chanced upon an random Polish politician called 'Eugeniusz Kwiatkowski' and my first thought was to just automatically assume he was somehow related to that obscure story he posted about dodgy neo-nazi drug courier 'Dirk Qwiatkowski' from Erfurt. Despite him being dead for 50 years and having no relation to cycling.

TBH looks like Remco is only one that has it and other 3 act like anchor that slows the group down.

Remco should try to drop them on the flat from last position, not on a climb with 3 good climbers in the wheel. He needs to create that sudden gap. As long as he isn't doing so, he won't take any time back, let alone just keeping the time gap.
