He initially closed 20 seconds and then he was gradually losing time again.

I've been watching cycling since the early 80's, raced back then as well, stayed friends with my old group of race buddies. I realize we are a very small sample set but there is not a single one of us who is interested in watching this any longer. Barring disaster he'll win Lombardia by 4 (or more) minutes, barring disaster we already know who is going to lay waste to the classics and the Tour next year; it's not Pog's fault he is so good but imho this is just awful to watch at this point.

A 2021-2022 WvA could have been an outsider (but not by trying to follow favourites, rather through anticipating so trying to survive the long climbs), but 2025 MvdP and WvA would not have finished the race.
