Has anybody picked up any rumours about where or what this year's route(s) will look like? They are badged as being in Ljubljana, but I assume - given the Pog factor - we should expect something hillier than a city/glorified crit circuit.

The route isn't known yet but the dates will be the following:

3 Oct: Road Race Men Jun. - Wom. Elite
4 Oct: Road Race Wom. Jun. - Men Elite
5 Oct: Road Race Men U23 - Wom. U23
6 Oct: Team Time Trial Elite - Jun.
7 Oct: All Individual Time Trials

So this means that the TT will be held after the road race and only 3 days before Il Lombardia, which makes sense because it gives riders more time to come from Canada to Slovenia the week before.

Pogacar already showed interested in riding both the RR and the TT but he will only make a final decision after the Tour.

I saw something about a 2km climb at 10% for the road race maybe. That Pogi had made a route and this climb could be included. We already knew they would make it perfect for him but now he also has a say about it.

if correct, this would be the final circuit:

Ridwithgps and Google Maps shows the top of the climb as unpaved road, but I guess this would likely change:

Beginning of last week I saw an Ineos Grenadiers team car parked close to Kranj railway station. I was curious what they were up to. Looks like they must have been doing a recon of this circuit.

Something doesn't make sense to me. If they are doing this climb and then they will have 10 km of flat roads, how the hell are they in the climb again (after those 10 km) when the final circuit is 21km long?

The unpaved section should be paved by the end of June I think

I didn't read the original article, but the tweet above says "following by rolling terrain", which would fit with the profile of the circuit. Climb -> ~8k rolling terrain -> ~11k of flat back to the climb.

Lmao letting Pogacar design the races we aren't even pretending anymore.

If Pogacar wants they'll probably include the climbs in the TT too
