Basically he has sustained and injury from a training accident after Catalunya which has taken a longer time to recover from.

He will be back in action at Romandie.

I am annoyed. He had such a good chance to take out Fleche again and possibly Liege. Not the worst thing that could of happened though. I guess it will give him a few less race days leading into the tour. Might help him out for the rest of the season.

But to put a positive spin on it, at least its the Ardennes and not the Tour.

Also Evans already won FW so at least hes got that one on his palmares. Its LBL that will miss him big time, and I would have liked him there. But its cycling and its just one of those things.
