Stranger things have happened. Nibali, Sastre, and Evans have won the Tour, all of them with contemporary rivals who were clearly better. And Roglic is more talented than these guys were. All it takes is Vingegaard to crash out, Pogi to be tired from the Giro, and Roglic becomes the no. 1 favourite to win the Tour.

I don't believe he can be better than Vingegaard, the difference phisically between the two at the moment in terms of grand tours is visible, but roglic can win the tour. It just takes a crash from vingegaard to roglic being the favourite, because pogacar will be cooked from the Giro, so i doubt pogacar will be better than roglic in the Tour.
Remco at the moment, i don't think is more favourite than roglic, even if remco is more young, and has more room to improvement than roglic.

Roglic lost at least three podium spots due to his crashes in Tour (2x) and Vuelta (1x). And perhaps a first Giro right there in 2019 and the 2020 Tour due to his crash in the Dauphine.

I don't watch cycling in order to fulfill my prophecies. Racing is allways a show of tactics, daring and unpredictability. Nothing can be further from the truth than the dictum "the stronger always wins".

That being said, of course Roglic can win the Tour by being the better man or due to other factors affecting other contenders. Either way, in my book he will allways be a "fair" winner.

You could at least say Remco. That is although Romain is a quality rider i didn't hear Pogi, Jonas, Remco or Visma mentioning him. As (one of) their main rival(s) to win the Tour 2024.

I love clams, yum! I too am a Roglic fan, but a realistic one. I seriously doubt that he can finish ahead of either Vinggegaard or Pogacar let alone both.
