So a targeted attack, taking out just Rogla, the precision amazes me i will give them that. Looks like no broken bones but likely some severe pain involved. One positive being mountains on the schedule the day after tomorrow, so if Rogla by any chance gets on the bike tomorrow, to work with that.

Damn, even with bruised shoulder, Rogla still looks like the lethal weapon. Hang in there champ.

When the crashed happened he was shoulder to shoulder with a DSM rider to his left. That rider saw the crashing Astana rider and started braking, Rog was oblivious. He must learn to anticipate better and be aware. That being said there is still an element of bad luck and I feel gutted for him. My TdF watching experience is also ruined...
Yes. He was unfortunate to be in the wrong spot at the wrong time when the crash of others happened on that *** road, but he didn't give himself good odds of coming out well of that encounter. So frustrating.

Yeah, agreed there's just some bad luck. But if you watch the overhead, like 5 maybe 6 riders got past the crashing Astana rider and Roglič just crashed (as you say) into people braking in front of him. Positioning, awareness, and reaction time were also factors here. Shame.

He looked pretty scraped up, but he's tough. I think he'll continue, and his shape is really good overall. I think not the last we've seen of Roglič in this Tour.

He landed on his right shoulder. There's no point in starting tomorrow.

If he does continue and realizes on stage 14 that he can't follow the pace, I think he should just let it go, try to recover as well as possible and go for a stage win on stage 19 or 20. I think that's what would be best for the mind, anyway.
