Interesting, only 500 will be made, collectable item. Winning the Tour 2025 i could imagine for the value to only go up, with time.

I believe the kit is supposed to be an homage to France and its colors. Also its national football team jerseys past and present.

It's a bit on the superstitious side IMO but whatever, we're out of ideas so if that brings Rog good fortune here, so be it.

It's interesting that such bold differentiation was made, compared to the jersey design during the season so far, said that i like it. Something special and on top of that it will be easy to differentiate them in the peloton. A lot of people will likely want to wear and ride such combo, let's call it the redemption package, as it's not every day that Pogi, Jonas and Remco gets beaten at the Tour so convincingly and with such style.

The Jury is out on that jersey until they reach Paris.

I really liked the black one last year at first but then I hated it by the end of the Tour. When it comes to aesthetics in cycling, results > style.

What Netflix shows is a defeat. What Netflix doesn't show is the much bigger story behind it: How setbacks turn into strength. How a rider doesn't give up. And how an entire team grows together to make the impossible possible.
That's the part that will make this summer of 2024 unforgettable - for Roglič, for Red Bull - BORA - hansgrohe and for all fans who know: The best stories often begin where others switch off.

We are so ready.

This is a less favorable outlook. Maybes it’d a case of “appear weak when you are strong?” Or it was a journalism misread. Or he’s in for a thumping. https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/wi...d-philosophical-about-tour-de-france-chances/
We're in the "chat I literally don't care" arc, pretty sure he'll start livestreaming on twitch soon.

It's beyond obvious he's doesn't wanna live the story that he has to win the Tour, and I think that's part of what's made the last few Tours miserable for him.

And in between the platitudes of "we'll see ah" is simply the best outlook you can have. If winning was guaranteed and if you never lost, it wouldn't tast so sweet.

I think it reflects exactly where he is: unknown territory. No real data to know where he stands versus his rivals (even when discounting the top two, it's very difficult to say where Rog currently is versus Almeida and Evenepoel) and it's a race that's been pretty much horrible for him for half a decade.

It adds up. I'm hoping he grows into the race tbh.
