I would like know why Greg would say such a thing ? I am aware that some people will just put out tweets like these, but not even Oleg is calling people out as genuine dopers. Has he done a thing like this before ? Why would he even mention the BP if he doesn't know something ?

What I am getting at, is that you probably know something is going on before you put something like that on Twitter. Not to mention the very fast apology afterwards, which to me indicates someone has told Greg "listen buddy, we don't need that heat, even though you're right".

I truly believe Astana is that stupid. IMO Aru is just below Ritchie in terms of carreer-trajectory. He's ok but he's not nibali or basso. And to talk about him winning the Giro, that's just nonsense.

You should maybe ask dude from the site veloropa who quoted an Astana press release april 21: 'Good for Astana, that it's only a stomach virus that's keeping Fabio Aru from competing at Giro del Trentino. Right?'

I think that is the source of the story of the rumoured issues w Aru's blood. Unless new stuff comes to light I would suggest that the story happened because internet site tried to be clever and or wanted to appear to 'know' stuff and other media and a known moron like Henderson picked up on it.

just for the record: Aru lost additional 5kg prior to the Giro? So in fact he's at ~56kg at 1.83m now, which means a BMI of 16.3 including leg musculature!?

That's incredibly lean! #thinspiration

I took a picture of Aru last year, he definitively is over 60 kilos, no possible less, some rides of 60 Kilos seem to be less than him...he is not the typical skinny climber, in fact he is a decent ITTl, not as Landa, excellent climber, but not good in the flat, and Landa is not skinny, not like Contador or Mayo in the past, or Rassmusen. Aru is the same but taller.

Fabio Aru tells La Gazzetta Dello Sport he got dysentery, 5kg weight loss no figure of speech, went from 62kg to 57kg, now at 60kg

normally he has no business doing the Giro but at Astana they have scientific methods and they will make him fly again

i hope italian authorities have the guts to catch another italian this year, Ulissi was some small fish tough

ofc the dysentery is non existant, just a cover for some weird blood numbers

because even a monkey knows you can't ride a grand tour after you lost 10% of your weight because of stomach diseases

So Aru is doped though his eye balls and ready. Let the show begin!

So it seems we were all right somehow.

PCS has him at 66kg at 1.83m length. That must be where Tax4us is referring to. Last season.
He leaned himself down to 62kg this season, went down to 57kg due to his "illness". Prior to the Giro has got 60kg now. Might he be back at 57kg just before Finestre? :D

The little angle has polished his wings certainly! Aru will cause death's and tears: The death of AC as a grand tour contender and the tears of LaFlo after he flight up Finestre! ;)

That weight on PCS is wrong, last year Aru himself and Slongo mentioned in multiple interviews that Aru was between 61 and 62kg and could be even 1-2kg lighter in the future, he always was very thin.

Really?! That didn't stop Froome! The guy had all the diseases of this world, and still rides and wins GT's and stage races! Didn't hear you playing a smart ass then! Sky fan should never complain about others doping, NEVER!

So Aru confirms legal action against Henderson

I hope his lawyers (Henderson's) are smart enough to make the cheat go public on his passport data and make a fool of himself.

Lets see the skyhigh offscore's justified with "i lost 5kg's on WC" :D

Question: when do you include bike and equipment weight when calculating W/kg, and when not? I am so confused :p

anyway, what I think is more amazing is his weight
Simple, when calculating his power you take into account the weight of bike and equipment because he needs to carry it with his body, but then you have to divide it by his naked body weight!!!

Henderson is a loser and a cheater himself. I hope he is losing this case and is fined just for being a monkey!

Not sure why anyone would assume Henderson is clean.
Then he needs to change Doctors!

Why? He has been a pro for 13 years. Not everyone gets to win a monument, classic or GT.

Plenty dope to keep a job.

Let's assume Benotti is right and Henderson doped his whole career just to stay a pro at the WT level.

In that case, he didn't waste his money. He invested money he wouldn't have otherwise to make sure he could keep on earning some more. It's like a tax, really.
