So...CNWestemeyer is available then? :D

Twitter closed the account within minutes of my challenging it.
So we're done here then, no? But it does remind me of a funny story.

...there is reason to believe it is forum related.

"Forum related" ala RR vs JP.
Forum related.

To reiterate my earlier point: The previous fiasco actually affected the forum and the rest of us. The unfortunate situation that Susan currently finds herself in does not. I perfectly understand Susan's desire to protect her identity and reputation—which kind of brings me back to the whole...Race...Radio...thingy.

There were no warnings given out at the time of the RR affair to any of us. Perhaps something along the lines of:

"It has come to our attention that there have been attempts to compromise the real identity of some forum members by means of PMs and external email exchanges. For legal reasons we can not make direct accusations, but how much trust would you put in a convicted dope dealer?"

Ya’ know, something like that.

"Forum related."

I missed the whole thing but can you tell me Susan a really good reason for having an admin account here in this forum, with your real full name? Haven't you thought that someone who might got ****ed from your administration would be able to open any account anywhere, and make nusty comments or tweets using your real name?

I suspect its because Susan is actually employed by CN, just like Daniel Benson who also uses his own name. The rest of us are "members".

Forums are public places. So even if Susan is employed by CN there is no reason to reveal her real name, it is really not a so good idea, especially here in the forum, because this doesn't change something, neither gives a specific status, ( I mean as it would give if she is the editor of an article) to her posts. Contrary allows vile people who perhaps don't like her moderation to use her real name with such ways..
I think is better to change her user name with a nick name..:)

Huh. Well, as much as I can sympathize with your predicament, (and I'm completely serious about that, as I am sure it's rather unpleasant) I can't help but instantly compare this somewhat to the Race Radio vs Joe Papp debacle. Is this much different?

In that scenario, some allegedly unscrupulous behavior took place outside of this forum, but it was most certainly spawned from within this forum. And yet we are not even allowed to discuss the specifics of that (or even the generalities, as it turns out).

But here you are asking (and completely within reason) for others to assist you in something that has occurred outside of this forum and really doesn't affect the rest of us directly.

Is it just me, or is there some hypocrisy in all of that?

Susan, you'll just have to take me at my word here. I'm not trying to be mean or insensitive to what you've been confronted with. But the above perspective is the first one that pops into my mind.

Thoughts?

Ain't that the truth. One rule for one, another for the rest of us.

Well, I am not really asking for help. More letting folks know that if they see racist remarks under my name on other sites, that they are not from me.

Susan
in defense of you, i would not be able to believe that if i read it.

anyone who was aware of you on CN, would not think this was legit, knowing the phenomena of sockpuppets twitter sporned.

so i would not believe that. and i doubt any regular on the forum would.

so it would be an immediate red flag, or disbelief.

the element that is a problem in this potential defamation, if from individuals who do not know you, and may have to interract with you on a professional level.

under any assessment, it is a pernicious act of libel.
