the difference between the top two and everyone else is basically chavanel and rojas

Fortunately, I have both. :D Up to 6th in the overall velogames competition now.

Losing Farrar is going to hurt me a bit, but I'm still looking good. 5 or 6 days in yellow, it's time for me to go with the yellow helmet and shorts. Holding off on the bike and sunglasses, though.

As the tour progresses my guys are coming through. Cav is getting the points and is good value for money. Contador will get a stage, if not tomorow then the tourmalet, and should place good in the rest.

I do not take it as a sign of my own tactical weakness that Farrar got injured as i couldnt have predicted that.

Van den brook is a steal.

Cancellara will get his stage, - 19.

Finally, a plague on everyone who said egoi martinez and Maxime Monfort, would go for the polka dot. What a waste of money.

As was Michael rogers but i thought he would have a ferrari engine.

Well im down to i think 6 riders.. what a total bomb, Roche should go back to stage hunting and taaramae might as well of stayed at home, i expected him to least make 1 decent break away effort...

The Garmin boys have hammered me.

0 points from VdV and only 16 from DZ

And Lar Boom has been a real let down. Should have got Gesink

Moved up to 9th, but I knew I should have picked Rodriguez. I had him on my original team before I read the rules. Then I replaced him with Basso, and he has been awful. Dissapointing stuff from Egoi Martinez and Niki Terpstra as well, but Kiriyenka finally panned out.

Up to 25th now. Was 38th and 44th on previous stages so some natural attrition is pulling me up the leader board. F.Schleck's total of 12 points has been disastrous. If only I'd had taken Samu.

Best value picks so far- JVDB and Rojas!!

^^ Yep, but Chav's run his race and I would be surprised if he picks up any more points here on in. The other 2 have at least 2 more stages to animate.

I'm the equivalent of Wiggans- sort of mediocre but might scrape into the top 20.

I probably need an infusion of fresh cows blood or something for the team.
Looking good for the ITT though and should get a bucketload of points there because of the amount of testers i've packed into the squad.

Agreed. Of course, you did say so far. Good thing I've got all three. I think I will be passed before it's all over, though.

Tell me about it. I am dropping through the standings like Wigans falling through the TdF GC. Rogers screwed me. Also Matt Lloyd. Damned Australians. :) F. Schleck and his fantastic cobbled adventures did not help either.

Things are coming good now :)

Conta is gonna clean me up some points and just hoping Gesink and Rodriguez done fade to badly during the big Mountains, Thor wraps up green and Martin blitzes the TT (I mean he has been rolling around at the back!) and a solid from DZ.

Maybe I should delete all that straight away? :)

I'm still confused why one of my riders - Vasil Kireyenka has only scored 35 points... he came second on stage 10 so i would of thought he would have scored more.

I have Devenyns who came in 3rd on that same stage and he didn't get any points for it either. 2nd is supposed to be worth 120 and 3rd is supposed to be worth 100 and I think they should have gotten some points for being in the break.

The last time I saw my guy Tony Martin was when he was tangled up in the crash that took out Frank Schleck (also on my team). What has he been doing since? He better come through for me in the final ITT and maybe some assist points for Cav.

Tony Martin seemed to be pulling hard on the front a few days back, he has been fairly quiet though.
Expecting him the blitz the ITT..hopefully. i reckon he deserves a stage win after what happened to him on the Ventoux last year..

My gamble with Fedrigo paid off! i'm now in the top ten. I need Tony Martin, Contador, and Kloden to put in a solid ITT. And I need Gesink to place well tonight. Cav should net me more points in Paris. I hope!
