People that rode the Giro rarely rarely ever do well in Suisse. I think Dauphine you might still have some of that form left but two weeks after the Giro is just a bad spot.
Shouldn't have been selected here but hope he gets some good miles in. Training camp in July and then start coming back for some August races.

Much better performance today. 36th. Finished in the group with geoghen hart, kruijsvijk, lemmen. Put time into benoot and langelotti. Maybe all hope is not lost for some results later in the season. Probably just not trying yesterday

Training really hard, still at height in livingno. Good sensations in training. Lots of races for Astana team in September, lots of opportunities.

Fausto was training with Remco for a couple of rides in Livigno. Now Fausto came down from altitude, training at home and been going on rides with Cjccone. I hope Giulio can share some of his training advice as to how good he was this year. Maybe then we could see Fausto back at a high level.

Currently a continental team, they hope to get promoted to pro conti for the start of next season. Along with Fausto, they have signed Alessandro Fancellu, good climber, and Davide persico.

I am going to be totally honest and say that this is not the direction I wanted Fausto career to go in. Shame that he does not have a spot in the world tour.

I didn't see him do anything at all. Now he got this new pro conti contract Im close to lost all hope that he will get some results this season.

No attacks, no big pacing, nowhere in GC. Really a shame. Hopefully he gets stronger through the race as training for the Italian classics.

Got in the breakway today, first sign of life since the giro. Not a great performance though. Hopefully he keeps trying. The team has to try for stage wins
